I was born in Munich, and lived in West Germany for most of my youth. In 1989 I went with my mom, dad, and the man who later would become my husband, to Berlin in December - just one month after the Wall had fallen. This is me in front of it right before I took a hammer and chisel to it and carved out my own piece. #history
